• Gather Documents:

• Original Canadian citizenship certificate (if applicable).

• Proof of other citizenship (e.g., foreign passport).

• Two pieces of ID (one with photo).

• Two photos meeting specifications.

• Translations and translator affidavit for non-English/French documents.

• Pay Fees: Include the non-refundable processing fee.

• Mail: Send the complete package as instructed in the guide. 

After Applying

• Confirmation: You'll be notified by mail of the decision.

• Loss of Rights: Once approved, you lose all Canadian citizenship rights, requiring visas to return to Canada.
